HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance - 2351 - Amend zoning map . . t ORDINANCE NO. 2351 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF REDl>ING (RZ-4-05) The City Council of the City of Redding does ordain as follows: Section 1. That the boundaries of the districts referred to in Section] 8.0] .050 of the Redding Municipal Code, as designated on the current map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of Redding, California," are hereby altered as set forth on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof by: FROM: TO: The Tarmac Ridge Villas Subdivision site, per Tentative Subdivisiol1l Map S-8-05, consisting of 8.62 acres located generally north west of the intersection of Shasta View Drive and Tarmac Road. "RM-15" Residential Multiple Family District. "RM-15-PD" Residential Multiple Family District with Planned l>evelopment Overlay District. REZONING: Section 2. The City Council finds that the subject rezoning will not have a significant effect on the environment and approves the following environmental determination: 1. On the basis of the environmental evaluation and recommendation provided by the Development Services Department, the City Council finds that the project is consistent with the Mitigated Negative Declaration recently adopted under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for an alternate project on the same property and qualifies for an "Addendum" in accordance with Section ]5164 of the CEQA Guidelines. 2. This determination and its supporting documentation reflect the independent judgment and analysis of the City of Redding. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the date of its adoption; and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause its publication according to law.
