ORDINANCE NO. 2339
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING THE ZONING
MAP OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO THE
REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF REDDING
(RZ-6-04)
The City Council of the City of Redding does ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the boundaries of the districts referred to in Section 18.01.050 of the Redding Municipal'
Code, as designated on a map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of Redding, California," dated January 7, 2003, are
hereby amended as set forth on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof by:

The Villages 'at Shasta View Gardens Subdivision, per Tentative Subdivision
Map S-15-04, consisting of 20.5 acres located generally southwest of the
intersection of Shasta View Drive and Tarmac Road-just north of the
Highway 44 interchange.
"RM-15" Residential Multiple Family District.
"RM-15-PD" Residential Multiple Family District with Planned! Development
Overlay District.
REZONING:
Section 2. The City Council finds that the subject rezoning will not have a significant effect on the
environment and approves the following environmental determination:
1. On the basis of the environmental evaluation and recommendation provided by the Development Services
Department, the City Council fmds that the project is consistent with the Mitigated Negative Declaration
recently adopted under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for an alternate project on the
same property, and qualifies for an "Addendum" in accordance with Section 15164 of the CEQA
Guidelines.
2. This determination and its supporting documentation reflect the independent judgnlent and analysis of the
City of Redding.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the date of its adoption; and the City Clerk shall
certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause its publication according to law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that this ordinance was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 16th day of November 2004 and was read and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 7th day of
December, 2004, by the following vote:
