ORDINANCE NO. 2336
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING THE ZONING
MAP OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE
REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY, CONSISTING OF 245ACRES
AT 160 QUARTZ HILL ROAD IN THE CITY OF REDDING (RZ-7-03)
The City Council of the City of Redding does ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the boundaries of the districts referred to in Section 18.01.050 of the Redding Municipal
Code, as designated on a map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of Redding, Califomia," dated January 7, 2003, are
hereby altered as set forth on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof by:

Section 2. On the basis of the initial study for Rezoning Application RZ- 7 -03 preparc~d by the Development
Services Department, the City Council finds that the subject rezoning will not have a significant effect on the
environment and approves the Mitigated Negative Declaration with the following findings:
1. The City of Redding has completed a Mitigated Negative Declaration for the rezoning. Based on analysis
of the potential impacts associated with the rezoning and approved mitigation measures, the project will
not have a significant effect on the environment.
2. The Mitigated Negative Declaration and its supporting documentation reflect the independent judgment
and analysis of the City of Redding.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the date of its adoption; and the City Clerk shall
certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause its publication according to law.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that this ordinance was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council
on the 7th day of September, 2004, and was read and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council on the 21 st day
of September, 2004, by the following vote:
