Home My WebLink AboutReso 2023-032 - Adopting the MOU and Salary Exhibits for IBEW PPURESOLUTION NO. 2023-032 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ADOPTING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND SALARY EXHIBITS BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDDING AND INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS — POWER PRODUCTION UNIT, EFFECTIVE APRIL 5, 2023 WHEREAS, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers — Power Production Unit has been formally recognized as the majority representative of an appropriate unit of employees, as set forth in Section 2.1 of Article 2 of the Memorandum of Understanding; and WHEREAS, the designated representatives of the City of Redding have conferred with and entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the designated representatives of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers — Power Production Employees Unit, as required by the provisions of the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act of 1968; and WHEREAS, staff has recommended adoption of said Memorandum of Understanding; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City to adopt such recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that the aforesaid Memorandum of Understanding and Salary Exhibits are hereby approved and shall be effective April 5, 2023.
