RESNER FOR SERVICE TO THE CITY OF REDDING WHEREAS, Erin D. Resner has served as a member of the Redding City Council from December 4, 2018, to December 6, 2022, providing four years of dedicated service to the community; and WHEREAS,during her tenure, Erin D. Resner served as Mayor from December 1, 2020,to December 7, 2021,and has executed the role of City Council Member and Mayor with pride and integrity; and WHEREAS, Erin D. Resner served her community in many ways, not only as Mayor and City Council Member, but also serving as a Community Services Advisory Commissioner, and City Council liaison to the following City of Redding departments, committees, and agencies: City Clerk, Community Services, Development Services, Personnel, and Police, Audit Committee, Community Services Advisory Commission, Planning Commission, Redding Capital Services Corporation, Redding Housing Authority, Redding Joint Powers Financing Authority, Redding Municipal Library, City of Redding as Successor Agency to the Redding Redevelopment Agency; and as the City's alternate representative to the Shasta County Air Pollution Control Board, Shasta County Airport Land Use Commission, Economic Development Corporation, and Shasta Regional Transportation Agency, and the following local agencies: Downtown Collaborative, Enterprise-Anderson Groundwater Sustainability Agency, Indian Gaming Local Community Benefit Committee, League of California Cities, Northern Sacramento Valley Integrated Regional Water Management Governance Board, Redding Area Bus Authority, Redding Area Water Council—Policy Advisory Committee, Youth Violence Prevention Council of Shasta County. WHEREAS, Erin D. Resner has provided support and leadership during the formulation, construction and/or completion phases of the following projects and successes: • City Response to the Covid-19 Pandemic including development of the Covid-19 Economic Response Plan • Cannabis Regulatory Framework and Taxation • Pickleball Courts at Enterprise Park • High Speed Fiber Broadband Ring • River Crossing Marketplace • Downtown Redding Revitalization • Carr Fire Response • Garden of Lights • Caldwell Junior Bike Park and Skate Park • Enterprise Resource Planning software upgrade • Soccer Park Renovation • Nur Pon Open Space • Air Service Enhancements • Airport Strategic Plan � REU Fire Mitigation Plan • Increased Redding Police Department Sworn Officer and Community Service Officer positions • Three Firefighters on every engine in the Redding Fire Department • Diestelhorst to Downtown Bike Path • Redding Riverfront Specific Plan Update Downtown Specific Plan Update � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redding commends �i Erin D.
