A. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING:
(1) RESCINDING, AS OF MIDNIGHT, NOVEMBER 3, 1990,
RESOLUTION NOS . 89-215, 89-239 , 89-299 , 89-314 , 90-82,
90-145 , 90-321 , 90-374 , AND 90-477 WHICH CONTAIN THE
CURRENT EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY
PLAN AND EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND SALARY
PLAN;
(2) ESTABLISHING A NEW EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND
SALARY PLAN EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 4 , 1990 (WITH NO CHANGES
IN CURRENT INDIVIDUAL SALARIES) , A TRUE COPY OF WHICH
IS ATTACHED HERETO AND INCORPORATED HEREIN BY
REFERENCE; 'AND
(3) ESTABLISHING A NEW. EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-
PERFORMANCE ' SALARY PLAN EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 4 , 1990
(WITH NO CHANGES IN CURRENT INDIVIDUAL SALARIES) , A
TRUE COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO AND INCORPORATED
HEREIN BY REFERENCE.
WHEREAS, City Council has studied the current Executive
Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan and Employee Classi-
fication Schedule and Salary Plan as previously established by
Resolution No. 89-215, and partially amended by Resolution Nos.
89-239 , 89-299 , 89-314 , 90-82 , 90-145 , 90-321 , 90-374 , and
90-477 ; and
WHEREAS, based upon the recommendations of the Nash and
Company, Inc. Report, with reference to the local SHRM Study,
staff has recommended that a new Employee Classification Schedule
and Salary Plan and a new Executive Management Pay-for-
Performance Salary Plan be implemented effective November 4 , 1990
(with no changes in current individual salaries) , to incorporate
new classification titles; rescinding the previous Resolutions;
and
WHEREAS , City Council deems it to be in the best interests
of the City of Redding to adopt such recommendations;

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding that:
• (1) . RESOLUTION NOS. 89-215 , 89-239 , 89-299 , 89-314 , 90-82, .
90-145 , 90-321 , 90-374, AND 90-477 , WHICH CONTAIN THE
CURRENT EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY
PLAN AND EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND SALARY
