O' /S /�� ` ���� IGwjy�c .�.�-�rCC?.7Efl fE"J!_� r t A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING rEL DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO SUMMARILY VACATF A PORTION OF SHASTA VIEW DRIVE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY . (A-10-90) WHEREAS , a portion of Shasta View Drive was heretofore dedicated to the City of Redding in 1982 by Parcel Map LS-7-82 , filed for record in Book 22 of maps at page 132 , Shasta County Records ; and WHEREAS , the Director of Public Works of the City of Redding has duly investigated the proposed abandonment of a portion of the above-described street right-of-way, which portion is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and shown on the two maps attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference , and has advised the City Council that there is no indication that it will ever be required; and WHEREAS , a different location for Shasta View Drive is to be dedicated to the City of Redding as set forth in the Western Acres Subdivision f.inal map 5-15-90 ; and WHEREAS , it is believed by and appears to the City Council of the City of Redding that when the new dedication in the Western Acres Subdivision is mac�e to the City, that the portion of the street right-of-way as described in Exhibit "A" and shown on the two maps attached hereto will not be necessary for a street right-of-way; and WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Redding elects to proceed in this matter under the provisions of the Public Streets , Highways , and Service Easements Vacation Law as the same is set forth in Section 8300 , et seq. , of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California; � r�ow, THEREFORE , the City Council of the City of Redding �� `, � hereby resolves and orders that: -' 1 . When the new location of Shasta View Drive is dedicated (,�l to the City in the Western Acres Subdivision and duly recorded, � r ��.: -� .aco�2�77'�eacE594 �e�o �� �-� od � - ` . . . • that portion of the Shasta View Drive street right-of-way described in Exhibit "A" and shown on the two maps attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference will no longer be necessary and may be vacated as a street right-of-way at that time . 2 . When the new location of Shasta View Drive is dedicated to the City in the Western Acres Subdivision and duly recorded , the City C1erk of the City of Redding be and hereby is directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution , attested to by the City Clerk under seal of the City of Redding, in the office of the Shasta County Recorder .
