Home My WebLink AboutReso. 1990-511 - Accepting for Maintenance and Operation a portion of Buenaventura Blvd, from Placer Street southerly to Starlight Blvd �. . _ r �E�� RESOLUTION NO. 9p s�l, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ACCEPTING FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION A PORTION OF BUENAVENTURA BOULEVARD, FROM PLACER STREET SOUTHERLY TO STARLIGHT BOULEVARD. wHEREAS , as a condition of approval of Units 4 , 5 , and 6 of Indian Hills Subdivision, the developer was required to extend Buenaventura Boulevard southerly from Placer Street to Starlight Boulevard in order to provide a secondary access to Indian Hills Subdivision; and WHEREAS, the extension of Buenaventura Boulevard southerly from Placer Street to Starlight Boulevard has been completed; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works of the City of Redding has recommended that the portion of Buenaventura Boulevard, from Placer Street southerly to Starlight Boulevard, be accepted now into the City street system for maintenance and operation by the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered this recommendation and deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Redding to approve same ; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that, pursuant to the authority provided in Section 1806 of the California Streets and Highways Code , Buenaventura Boulevard is hereby accepted into the City street � system for maintenance and operation by the City. � �^., I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foreqoing Resolution was intro- C• duced and read at a reqular meetinq of the City Council of the L i ✓ \ Rew�.e�nOFT�p�u�esr oe � . � OFFICIAL RECURDS ■t min. es� � M QIIASTA COUNTY, CALIF.
