PAST CITY OF REDDING d RECORDS SHASTA Cir.CAA 760 Parkview Ave. NOV 131990 Redding, CA. 96001 or RESOLUTION NO. 90 -tel 1 I Ido FEE AF1E4M.KLCQUa BE e A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING DECLARING AS SURPLUS PROPERTY 20 FEET OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF COLLYER DRIVE ADJACENT TO THE COUNTRY OAKS SUBDIVISION, AND ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF SAID 20-FOOT PORTION OF STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY (A-8-90) . WHEREAS, proceedings have been duly conducted and held in accordance with the provisions of the Public Streets, Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law, Streets and Highways Code Section 8300 , et seq. ; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding finds and determines that, subject to the condition set forth below, the hereinafter described real property is not necessary for present or prospective street right-of-way purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redding hereby resolves and orders as follows: 1 . That all of the foregoing recitals are true and correct. 2 . That the City Council makes the following findings in connection herewith: (a) The project is compatible with the Redding General Plan; (b) The project will not significantly alter the existing land form; (c) The project is compatible with the surrounding land use; (d) The project is compatible with the Redding Municipal Code; and 3 . That certain real property in the City of Redding, County of Shasta, State of California, being 20 feet of street right-of-way along the north side of Collyer Drive adjacent to c Cji • B0012661PAGE440 N // (o •C/5- V V . the Country Oaks Subdivision, as the same is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and the maps attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is hereby (1) declared as surplus property; and (2) vacated and abandoned as a street right-of-way, SUBJECT TO the following condition: (a) The City shall retain a five-foot-wide public service easement across the entire frontage. 4 . The City Clerk of the City of Redding be and hereby is directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution, attested to by the City Clerk under the seal of the City of Redding, in the office of the Shasta County Assessor/Recorder.
