IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows: 1 . That the City Council of the City of Redding hereby approves the above-mentioned Authorization and Contract for Professional Services, together with Contract Modification (Change Order) 006 , between the City of Redding and Lawrence & Associates, in an additional amount of $16 ,550 .00 , true copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. 2 . That the City Manager of the City of Redding is hereby authorized and directed to sign said documentation on behalf of the City Council of the City of Redding; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest the signature of the to o . In ing itself against the claim. a U PROPOSAL FOR SERVICES introduction Correspondence dated July 23 , 1990 from the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) to the City of Redding indicated that if items specified in the correspondence were added to the original Preliminary Closure/Postclosure Plan (dated March 12, 1990) , it would might be accepted as a Final Closure/Postclosure Plan. The following proposal describes the work required to provide the specified items detailed in the July 23 correspondence for the purpose of completing a Final Closure/Postclosure Plan. Scope of Work and Cost Estimate The outline shown below describes the tasks necessary to provide the items requested in the CIWMB correspondence of July 23 to meet the requirements of a complete Final Closure/Postclosure Plan. Estimated hours and costs of each task are also provided. It is also proposed that landfill well OB-6 and upgradient wells OB-1, OB-2 and OB-3 be sampled and tested for major anions and cations, and other constituents for the purpose of determining water quality.
