A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCZL OF THE CITY OF REDDZNG
ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF 7 , 200 SQUARE FEET
OF DEDICATED OPEN-SPACE AREA GENERALLY LOCATED WEST OF
BLAZINGWOOD DRIVE AND NORTH OF DAWNRIDGE DRIVE (A-7-90 ) .
WHEREAS , proceedings have been duly conducted and held in
accordance with the provisions of the Public Streets , Highways ,
and Service Easements Vacation Law, Streets and Highways Code
Section 8300 , et seq. ; and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Redding finds and
determines that the hereinafter described real property is not
necessary for present or prospective open space purposes ;
NOW , THEREFORE , the City Council of the City of Redding
hereby resolves and orders as follows :
1 . City Council makes the following findings in connection
herewith:
(a) The project is compatible with the Redding General
Plan;
(b) The project will not significantly alter the
existing land form;
(c) The project is compatible with the surrounding
land use ; and
(d) The project is compatible with the Redding
Municipal Code .
2 . That certain real property in the City of Reddinq ,
Countv of Shasta , State of California , being a 7 , 20D square ioot
portion of open-space area generally located west of Blazingwood
Drive and north of Dawnridge Drive , as the same is more particu-
larly shown on E:chibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
herein bv reference , be and the same is hereby vacated and
abandoned as an open space easement , subject to the followino
condition:
(a) The area to be abandoned shall be merqed with Lot 17 of
Unit 3 , Country Heights Subdivision .

dizected to record n certified copy of this Resolution, atteated
to by the City Clerk under the aeal of the City of Redding, in
the office of the Shasta County Recorder.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution Was intzo-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 2nd day of October , 1990 , and was adopted
at said meetinq by the following vote :
