PAST_1_017;1dl OFFICIAL RECORDS SHASTA COUNTY, CALIX CITY OF REDDiNG DEC 131990 760 Parkview Ave. RESOLUTION NO. j®-,SS3 Redding, CA. 96004*Ctilrea:101 ASSESSOR-RECORDER FEE '�`" A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING OF INTENTION TO BEGIN LEGAL PROCEEDINGS OF ABATEMENT UNDER CHAPTER 9. 36 OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF REDDING LOCATED AT 6045 EASTSIDE ROAD, OWNED BY BETTE LUE TRAILL AND JOE LARRY HEFLIN, AS JOINT TENANTS. WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 9 . 36 of the Redding Municipal Code provide that all buildings or structures located within the City of Redding which are structurally unsafe or are dilapidated from old age, neglect, decay or other causes which constitute a fire menace or are dangerous to human life or a likely resort for vagrant or dissolute persons, may be declared a nuisance by the City Council of the City of Redding and there- after abated as provided therein; and WHEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Redding has made an inspection of the building located on real property as hereinafter described and has declared it to be unsafe and/or a hazard to safety, health and public welfare; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is categor- ically exempt from the provisions of CEQA; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that it is the intention of this City Council to begin legal proceedings of abatement under Chapter 9 . 36 of the Redding Municipal Code on the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said building mentioned herein- c above is hereby declared to be a public nuisance as provided by i 030 $OOK26 I0PAA 411 • Chapter 9. 36 of the Redding Municipal Code and is hereby ordered to be abated by repair, rehabilitation, demolition or removal. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fire Marshal and the Board of Appeals of the City of Redding are hereby directed to take all proceedings provided in Chapter 9. 36 of the Redding Municipal Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Redding be and hereby is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Shasta County Recorder for recordation. Reading Grant, described as follows: The Westerly 125 feet measured at right angles to the Westerly line thereof of that portion of the Rancho Buena Ventura or Reading Grant and described as commencing at the Southwest corner of the Bonny View Tract on the Eastern boundary of the Central Pacific Railroad right of way; thence, North 67 degrees 00' East, 285 feet along the Southern boundary of the Bonny View Tract; thence, South 07 degrees 12 ' East, 595 feet; thence, South 82 degrees 48 ' West, 274.2 feet to the Eastern edge of the Central Pacific Railroad right of way; thence, along said Eastern boundary of Central Pacific Railroad right of way, North 07 degrees 12 ' West, 517.4 feet to place of beginning, magnetic variation 19 degrees 00 ' East.
