RESOLUTION NO. 70- .2 $
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 90-371, WHICH APPROVED AND ADOPTED
A CITY-WIDE TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEE
PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 16.45 OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE.
WHEREAS, on June 5, 1990, City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1921
establishing the City-wide Transportation Development Impact Fee District,
and enacting a new Chapter 16.45 of the Redding Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, Section 16.45.060 states that a Transportation Impact Fee
shall be established in the manner and amount set forth in a Resolution
adopted by the City Council pursuant to said Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 90-371 was adopted by City Council on
July 17, 1990; and
- WHEREAS, City Council wishes to amend said Resolution as set forth
below; •
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding that Resolution No. 90-371 be and hereby is amended by
adding the following "SECTION 6" to said Resolution:
SECTION 6 - Fee District Credited.
A. There is hereby created a roadway and signal program credit for
development occurring in those traffic impact fee districts listed
below:

DU = Dwelling Unit.
SF = Square foot of gross bniltiing floor area.
(1) = To be computed by Department of Public Works.
B. The roadway program credit for the Dana Drive District is based on
the analysis presented in the City of Redding Department of Public
Works' memorandum to the City Council dated August 15, 1990, on
transportation impact fees.
C. The fees listed in Section 6 A. above will apply to development
within the boundaries of the listed district as set forth in the
associated ordinance or resolution of the City of Redding. The fees
listed in this section in effect on the date of issuance of a building
permit—or improvement plans for mobilehome parks—shall be used
to calculate the total roadway and signal fee payable prior to the
issuance of such building permit or improvement plans.
D. Where there is a question regarding the land use category
applicable in any particular situation, or where there is a special
land use not within .one of the categories listed in Section 6 A.
above, the Director of Public Works shall determine the category
that is most appropriate for determining the applirahlP fee. Any
determination by the Director of Public Works is appealable
pursuant to Resolution No. 90-371, Section 4. Table A, Land Use
Categories, forming part of Resolution No. 90-371, indicates the
land uses covered by the fee categories above and some categories
not identified at this time with a specific fee.
All other provisions of Resolution No. 90-371 shall remain in full force
and effect.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution amending Resolution
No. 90-371 was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Redding on the 21st day of August AugliaL, 1990, and was duly
adopted by the following vote:
