RESOLUTION NO. 2022-126 • RESOLUTION OF ! OF OF REDDING ADOPTING THE MEMORANDUMOF i ' r SALARY: BETWEEN THE CITY OF it AND INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF • i' • MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES UNIT WHEREAS, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers — Maintenance Employees Unit has been formally recognized as the majority representative of an appropriate unit of employees, as set forth in Section 2.1 of Article 2 of the Memorandum of Understanding; and WHEREAS, the designated representatives of the City of Redding have conferred with and entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the designated representatives of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers — Maintenance Employees Unit, as required by the provisions of the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act of 1968; and WHEREAS, staff has recommended adoption of said Memorandum of Understanding and Salary Exhibits; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City to adopt such recommendation; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that the aforesaid Memorandum of Understanding is hereby approved and shall be effective December 4, 2022; and the Salary Exhibits are hereby approved and shall be effective December 11, 2022.
