ARESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
CONSENTING TO COMMENCEMENT OF ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS
AND APPLYING TO LAFCO FOR APPROVAL OF- THE ANNEXATION ' •

TO ,THE CITY OF REDDING OF INHABITED- TERRITORY
DESIGNATED CITY OF REDDING ANNEXATION NO. 80-14 , •
(HAWLEY ROAD AREA) .
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City .of

Redding as follows:
• 1. That, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal
•
Organization Act of 1977 , a petition for annexation, signed .
by owners of more than five per cent (5%) of the land .the
hereinafter described territory, by area and by assessed
value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the
County of, Shasta, was filed with the City Council of 'the
City of :
•
territory designated City of Redding Annexation No. 80 14 . pur -
suant to the Municipal Organization Act`of 1.9.77 .
5: That 'a plan for providing services-within the
affected territory is set forth in "Exhibit C" attached
hereto and incorporated' herein by reference;. as' required by
Government Code Section 35102.
6. Thatthe,-City Clerk is authorized and directed
to file a ce'rt`ified copy of this= Resolution with. the Executive •
•
Officer of. the -Local Agency Formation% Commission of Shasta
County, along with appropriatefees.`
I- HEREBY CERT°IFY 'that::t the -foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Redding on the 2nd day of February , 1981, and
• was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote :
