. • A RESOLUTION OF THE-.CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY .OF REDDING
APPROVING LETTER OF AGREEMENT NO. -07-20-X01'68 WITH
THE UNITED. STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR, WATER AND
POWER RESOURCES SERVICE, COVERING REVIEW OF CITY' S .
WHISKEYTOWN AND LAKE RED BLUFF POWER GENERATING PLANS.
• ' WHEREAS, Letter of Agreement No. 1-07-20-X0168 between
-- the City of Redding and the United States Department of the- Interior,
Water and Power Resources Service, provides for the Service to per-
form a technical review of data, criteria; .design:,=.and' drawings,
`including construction inspection and negotiations. of an7operating
agreement for the City' s proposed` hydroelect'r: c developents.:at
Whiskeytown Dam and at Red Bluff Diversion Dam:, and _ - • .

WHEREAS, said Letter of Agreement, dated December 12 ,
19`80 , provides for a maximum expenditure for these services not
to exceed a total of $90 , 000 .00, and an initial advance payment
•
of $5, 000. 00 , and .
WHEREAS , it appears to be in the best interests of the
City and' its citizens that said Letter of Agreement be- approved,
and the work commenced,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ITRESOLVED that the City Council of
the City .of Reddng' hereby approves Letter of Agreement No. 1767-
.
20-X0168 with the United States Department of. the Interior, Water
and Power Resources Service, and authorizes the City Manager to
execute same on behalf of the City , and make-the initial payment. ; .: .
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro
' duced and read at a regular meeting of the City .Council of the City
