That, pursuant to the provisions- of the Municipal • - Organization Act of 1977, a petition for annexation, signed by owners . of more than five per cent (50) of the Iandn :the • hereinafter described territory, by area and by assessed . ' • • • value as shown On the last equalized assessment r61.1 •of the • • County of Shasta, was filed with the City Councih"ofe'the • City of Redding on January 5 , 1981. • 2: That the territory which the petitioners request 'be annexed to the-City of Redding and which said • City and its Council propose to annex, is uninhabited territory situate in the County of Shasta, State of California, desig- • nated "City of Redding Annexation No. 81-2" , (Mary Lake) , and • more• particularly described in "Exhibit A" and depicted on • "Exhibit B" , attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.' These services will be provided in the same manner in which they are provided to all parcels within the City of Podding . In addition , electric-utility services will be .acquired from the Pacific Gas and Electric Company by the City. It is not anticipated that serer service will be extended outside the estab- lished sewer-service-area boundary of the Redding Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant..
