HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1983 - 126 - Establishing fees for overcrowding for the shasta union high school districtr 411 1 RESOLUTION NO. q3-426 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ESTABLISHING FEES FOR OVERCROWDING FOR THE SHASTA UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the Shasta Union High School District has requested the City of Redding impose fees on development to assist the district in overcrowding situations; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding held a public hearing on the overcrowding conditions of Shasta Union High School District on July 5, 1983 at its regular meeting; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding found that the Shasta Union High School District was overcrowded based upon the findings made by the Shasta County Superintendent of Schools and the criteria found in Chapter 16. 44 of the Redding Municipal Code; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the following fee schedule shall be effective with regard to new construction in the City of Redding through June of 1984 as fees established for the overcrowding conditions found in the Shasta Union High School District: 1. Dwelling units with three or more bedrooms : $641 . 33 per unit; and 2. Dwelling units with two or fewer bedrooms : $320 . 66 per unit.
