HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1983 - 109 - Approving federal aid urban priority list and maps for funding over the next four years RESOLUTION NO. 05-/q y A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING APPROVING FEDERAL AID URBAN PRIORITY LIST AND MAPS FOR FUNDING OVER THE NEXT FOUR YEARS. WHEREAS, as a result of the taking of the 1980 Census, Redding is now defined as urbanized; and WHEREAS, the Technical Advisory Committee of the Shasta County Metropolitan Planning Organization approved the attached priority list and maps, which outline the urban boundaries and specified segments within the City of Redding, at their meeting of May 18, 1983; and WHEREAS, Said priority list is a list of projects that will be funded over the next four years with Federal Aid Urban funds; and WHEREAS, in order to make said funds available, said prior- ity list must first be approved, along with route maps and functional classifications, by the City Council of the City of Redding because they outline the streets for which FAU funds can be used; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redding hereby approves the functional classifications depicted on maps on file in the Office of the City Clerk, the additions to the Federal Aid Urban system as described on Form OLA 164 and the priority projects list attached to this Resolu- tion and made a part hereof. vNig 0 0 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro- duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 20th day of June , 1983, and was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN: Demsher, Fulton, Kirkpatrick, Pugh, and Gard NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None 1 So 1, J ittl ALLta, GARD, Mayor City of Redding ATTEST: / ETHEL A.
