HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1983 - 050 - Resolution concerning foreclosures of delinquent assessment liens victor avenue and other streets sewer assessment district no. 1982-5 A, II/ 4IP RESOLUTION NO. g:)-Jr-0 RESOLUTION CONCERNING FORECLOSURE OF DELINQUENT ASSESSMENT LIENS VICTOR AVENUE AND OTHER STREETS SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1982-5 The City Council of the City of Redding resolves: 1. If any installment of the principal or interest of any assessment levied in Victor Avenue and Other Streets Sewer Assessment District No. 1982-5 becomes delinquent, the City Council shall cause the filing of an action in the Superior Court of the County of Shasta to foreclose the lien of the delinquent assessment pursuant to the authority given in Section 8830 and following of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. This action shall be filed not later than one hundred twenty (120) days following the date of delinquency. 2. This resolution is adopted as an inducement to the purchase of improvement bonds to be issued in Victor Avenue and Other Streets Sewer Assessment District No. 1982-5 and Paragraph 1 hereof shall constitute a covenant to the bondholders.
