RESOLUTION NO. 8y-/8�
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
PROHIBITING PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON LAKE BOULEVARD FROM
MARKET STREET TO CLAY STREET.
WHEREAS, Section 11. 24. 040 of the Redding Municipal Code
specifically provides that the City Council may designate, by
resolution, additional areas unsuitable, dangerous or inconven-
ient for parking purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended
parking be prohibited at all times in the area outlined below;
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best inter-
ests of the citizens of the City of Redding to adopt such recom-
mendations; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is categor-
ically exempt from the provisions of CEQA;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding as follows:
1 . That parking is prohibited at all times on Lake Boule-
vard from Market Street to Clay Street.
2 . That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized
and directed to install appropriate signs and markings to accom-
plish the purpose of this resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution, was intro-
duced and read at a meeting of the City Council of the City of
Redding on the 20th day of August 1984 , and was duly

adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
