A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 4433 PERTAINING TO THE LOADING
ZONE AT 1725 GOLD STREET.
WHEREAS, on May 3 , 1971 , Resolution No. 4433 was adopted
which established a loading zone at 1725 Gold Street; and
WHEREAS, Redding Pathologists, the beneficiary of such
loading zone, has indicated that it is no longer necessary for
said business; and
WHEREAS, staff has no objection to this request and, as a
result of that, at the meeting of March 12 , 1984 , the Traffic and
Parking Commission voted unanimously to rescind said resolution;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered such request and
determined it to be in the best interests of the City of Redding
to satisfy the request;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1 . That Resolution No. 4433 is hereby rescinded and shall
be of no further force and effect.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 2nd day of April , 1984 , and
was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Demsher, Fulton, Kirkpatrick, Pugh, and Gard
NOES : COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSTAIN: COUNCILMEN: None
