HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1985 - 231 - Prohibiting parking at all times at 5175 churn creek road RESOLUTION NO. gs-.1.3 1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING PROHIBITING PARKING AT ALL TIMES AT 5175 CHURN CREEK ROAD. WHEREAS, Section 11. 24 . 040 of the Redding Municipal Code specifically provides that the City Council may designate, by resolution, additional areas unsuitable, dangerous or incon- venient for parking purposes; and WHEREAS, the Traffic and Parking Commission has recommended parking be prohibited at all times on certain streets; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered such recommendation and deems it to be in the best interests of the City to adopt same; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is cate- gorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows: 1 . That parking is prohibited at all times for a distance of 100 feet in a westerly direction from the west property line of 5211 Churn Creek Road along the southerly right-of-way line. • • 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to install appropriate signs and markings to accomplish the purpose of this resolution.
