A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
PROHIBITING PARKING AT ALL TIMES AT 5175 CHURN CREEK ROAD.
WHEREAS, Section 11. 24 . 040 of the Redding Municipal Code
specifically provides that the City Council may designate, by
resolution, additional areas unsuitable, dangerous or incon-
venient for parking purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic and Parking Commission has recommended
parking be prohibited at all times on certain streets; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered such recommendation
and deems it to be in the best interests of the City to adopt
same; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is cate-
gorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding as follows:
1 . That parking is prohibited at all times for a distance
of 100 feet in a westerly direction from the west property line
of 5211 Churn Creek Road along the southerly right-of-way line.

2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized
and directed to install appropriate signs and markings to
accomplish the purpose of this resolution.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was intro-
duced and read at a meeting of the City Council of the City of
Redding on the 21st day of October , 1985 , and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Demsher, Fulton, Gard, Pugh, & Kirkpatrick
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
