A RESC)LUTION 4F THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
APPROVING AMENDMENT OF THE EMPLOYMENT AND BENEFIT
P4LICIES F4R UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES, EFFECTIVE
AUGUST 3,2022
WHEREAS, staff has recommended amendrnent to the Emplayment and Benefit Policies
far Unrepresented Employees overtime language for the Electric Program Supervisor - Line
classification contractual�y providing time and a half pay under eertain circumstances for
canducting planned andJor un-planned supervisory wark outside of normal working hours when
approved by the Electric Utility Director or designee, for a twelve-month trial period, effeetive
August 3, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City to adopt such
recommendation; and
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council that the
Emplayment and Benefit Policies for Unrepresented Employees be amended to include overtime
language for the Eleetric Pragram Supervisar - Line classification, contractually praviding time
and a half pay under certain circumstances for cQnducting pianned and/or un-planned supervisory
work outside of normal working hours when approved by the Electric Utility Director or designee,
for a twelve-month trial period, effective August 3, 2022.
I HEIZEBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resalution was introduced and adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 2nd day of August, 2022,by the
follawing vote;
