HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2022-076 - Adopting The Memorandum Of Understanding And Schedule Of Wage Rates Between The City Of Redding And Redding Peace Officers Association – Miscellaneous Employees Unit RESOLUTION NC}. 2022-Q76 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ADOPTING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND SCIIEDULE OF �VAGE RATES BETWEEN THE CITY fJF REDDING AND REDDING PEACE 4FFICERS ASSC}CIATION—MISCELLANEOUS EMPLOYEES UNIT,EFFECTIVE JULY 19,2022 WHEREAS, Redding Peace 4fficers Association {RPOA)—Mi�cellaneous Employees has been formally recognized as the majority representative of an appropriate unit of employees; and WHEREAS, the designated representatives of the City of Redding have conferred with and entered into a Mem4randum of Understanding with the designated representatives of RI'OA — Miseellaneous Employees,as required by the provisions of the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act Qf 1968; and WHEREAS, staff has recommended adoption of said Memorandum of Understanding; and WKEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City to adopt such recammendation; NOW,THEREFORE,IT IS I3EREBY RESC}LVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that the aforesaid Memorandum of Understanding and Schedule of Wage Rates is hereby approved and shall be effeetive July 19, 2022.
