HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2022-075 - Adopting The Memorandum Of Understanding And Salary Exhibits Between The City Of Redding And Redding Independent Employees’ Organization – Clerical, Technical And Professional And Supervisory/Confidential Employees Bargaining Units RES4LITTION NO,2022-075 A RESOLUTION (}F TI3E CITY COUNCIL QF TI3E CITY OF REDDING ADOPTING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING AND SALARY EXHIBITS BETWEEN TIIE CITY C?F REDDING AND REDDING INDEPENDENT EMPLOYEES' ORGANIZATION — CLERICAL, TEC�INICAL AND PRCIFESSI4NAL AND SUPERVIS4RYlC'ONFIDENTIAL EMPLQYEES BARGAINING UNITS, EFFECTIVE JULY 19,2022 WHEREAS, Redding Independent Employees' Organizatian (RIEO) — Clerical, Technical and Professional(CTP}and Supervisory/Confidential Emp�Qyees Bargaining Units have been formally recognized as the majority representative of an appropriate unit of employees; and WF�EREAS, the designated representatives of the City of Redding have conferred with and entered into a Memarandum of Understanding with the designated representatives of RIEO—CTP and SupervisorylConfidential Employees Bargaining Units, as required by the provisions of the Meyers-Miiias-Brown Aet of 1968; and WI-�EREAS, staff has recommended adoptian c�f said Memorandum of Understanding; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it ta be in the best interest af the City to adopt such recammendation, NOW,THERE�ORE,IT IS FIEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that the aforesaid Memorandum of ITnderstanding and Salary Exhibits is hereby approved and sha11 be effective July 19, 2022.
