RESOLUTION NO. 875-11,67
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 85-131 PERTAINING TO DEPUTY CITY
ATTORNEY POSITION.
WHEREAS , the current Schedule of Salaries for Officers and
Exempt Employees was adopted by Resolution No. 85-131; and
WHEREAS , staff has recommended that a new wage rate be
applied to the current Deputy City Attorney position; and
WHEREAS, staff feels that the implementation of this recom-
mendation will correct any inequity between the salary level and
the level of expertise required of the Deputy City Attorney
position; and
WHEREAS , the City Council deems it to be in the best inter-
ests of the City of Redding to adopt such recommendation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding that the City Council does hereby amend Resolu-
tion No. 85-131 , effective August 5 , 1985 , by modifying the
Schedule of Salaries for Officers and Exempt Employees by creat-
ing a new wage rate for the position of Deputy City Attorney and
that said wage rate is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other portions of Resolution
No. 85-131 will remain in full force and effect.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 5th day of August , 1985 , and
RESCINDED.BY RESOLUTION NO. 87-12 �"
was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
