G // A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 84-259 BY MODIFYING THE SCHEDULE OF SALARIES FOR OFFICERS AND EXEMPT EMPLOYEES AND THE EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND SALARY PLAN ESTABLISHED BY SAID RESOLUTION. WHEREAS , the City Council has studied the current Schedule of Salaries for Officers and Exempt Employees and the Employee Classification Schedule and Salary Plan as previously established by Resolution No. 84-259; and WHEREAS, staff has recommended amendments to City policies pertaining to employee classifications and salaries as indicated in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best inter- ests of the City of Redding to revise said salary plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows: 1 . That Resolution No. 84-259 is hereby amended by modify- ing the Schedule of Salaries for Officers and Exempt Employees and Employee Classification Schedule and Salary Plan as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein. 2 . That all other portions of Resolution No. 84-259 will remain in full force and effect. 3 . That this resolution shall be effective June 30 , 1985 .
