A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 83-240 PERTAINING TO ANNEXATION NO.
83-6 (HIGHWAY 44 AND OLD OREGON TRAIL AREA) .
WHEREAS , Resolution No. 83-240 pertaining to the commence-
ment of annexation proceedings for Annexation No. 83-6 (Highway
44 and Old Oregon Trail area) was adopted December 5 , 1983; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to said adoption staff determined that
amendment to the plan providing services to that area was
required; and
WHEREAS, such amendment would involve amending Exhibit "C"
to Resolution No. 83-240;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding that Resolution No. 83-240 is hereby amended by
the addition of a new Exhibit "C" and deletion of the old exhi-
bit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other provisions of Resolu-
tion No. 83-240 will remain in full force and effect.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 1st day of July , 1985 , and

EXHIBIT C
PLAN PROVIDING BASIC SERVICES AS REQUESTED BY
SECTION 35102 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE
REDDING ANNEXATION NO. 83-6
Water - Within the Bella Vista Water District, water would be furnished by
the district in accordance with adopted standards, policies, and
payment of any fees or charges and requirements for projects.
Lines would be extended by property owners. Outside of the Bella
Vista Water District, water would be provided by the City of
Redding in accordance with adopted standards , policies, and payment
of fees or connection charges. Lines would be extended by property
owners.
Sewer - Within the Regional Sewer Service boundary, sewer service will be
provided by the City in accordance with adopted policies, stan-
dards, and charges . Outside the Regional Sewer Service boundary,
sewer service will be provided when treatment-plant and trunk-line
capacity is expanded and in accordance with adopted policies,
standards , and charges. Sewer lines will be extended by property
owners.
Solid
Waste - Solid waste collection will be provided to existing residents after
five years as per State law or when the existing collector chooses
to discontinue service. New customers will be serviced by the City
and all residents may use the City landfill .
Streets - Existing streets shown on the County Road log will be maintained by
the City only to the extent they are presently improved. New
dedicated public streets will be constructed according to City
standards and maintained by the City accordingly.
Police and
Fire - Upon annexation, police and fire services will be available to the
area . Development will occur in a manner to maintain the City's
fire rating.
Electric - City electric service will be provided when owners extend lines to
their properties in accordance with City policies and standards.
Storm
Drainage - Natural drainage ditches will be maintained by the property owner
through whose property the drain or stream passes .
