A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
RELEASING THE PROCEEDINGS OF ABATEMENT UNDER CHAPTER 9. 36 OF
THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE
CITY OF REDDING LOCATED AT 1413 RIVIERA DRIVE (OWNED BY
BANK OF AMERICA [PREVIOUSLY OWNED BY JAMES A. AND BONNIE J.
HOWARD] ) .
WHEREAS, City Council, on June 16 , 1986 , passed Resolution
No. 86-138 , being a Resolution of intention to begin legal
proceedings of abatement under Chapter 9. 36 of the Redding
Municipal Code on certain real property in the City of Redding
located at 1413 Riviera Drive, owned by Bank of America
(previously owned by James A. and Bonnie J. Howard) ; and
WHEREAS, a certified copy of said Resolution was recorded in
the Office of the County Recorder of Shasta County, State of
California, on July 7 , 1986 , in Book 2239 at page 896 , Official
Records of Shasta County; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals has been advised that the
hazardous structure has been rehabilitated by said owners;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding that the legal proceedings of abatement be
discontinued; and that the City Clerk of the City of Redding be
and hereby is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy
of.'this Resolution to the Shasta County Recorder for recordation.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of 6�

duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
