RESOLUTION NO. 81, .19/ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING APPROVING AND ADOPTING CERTAIN SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS CALCULATED AS OF November 3 , 1986 , AND TO BE EFFECTIVE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30 , 1987 . WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted a budget for the fiscal year ending June 30 , 1987; and d WHEREAS, such budget contained estimated revenue and appropriations for said fiscal year; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Director of Finance that certain supplemental appropriations (must be approved at this time to balance the City' s accountsifor said fiscal year; NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows : 1 . That the foregoing recitals are true and correct. 2 . That it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City of Redding to approve and adopt the following supplemen- tal appropriations at this time . 3 . That said adjustment shall be in accordance (with the schedule attached hereto, marked Exhibit "B" and incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth at this point. 1 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City, Council of the City of Redding on the 3rd day of November 1 ti 111 1986, and was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote: AYES : COUNCIL MEMBERS : Carter, Dahl , Johannesse , & Fulton NOES : COUNCIL MEMBERS: None ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS : Gard ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None LEE D. AGENDA I CITY OF REDDING r-rTEM No. 4-9-2 (c) INTER-DEPARTMENT COMMUNICATION MEETING DATEll/03/86- 1 4 DATE 10/30/86 TO All Members of City Council B-050-020-000 FROM Director of Finance SUBJECT Proposed Purchase - Analysis and Recommendation Re: Bid Schedule Number 1839 , Uninterruptible Power Supply System - Supplemental Appropriation An uninterruptible power supply system is being installed at the City of Redding Police Building. Phase I of this project includes a motor generator unit. This unit was purchased in 1985/86 at a cost of $42, 000. 00. Phase II cost will include air conditioning modifications and electrical modifications . The revised estimate for the cost of this work exceeds the initial estimate. It is recommended that the contract be awarded for the electrical modifications and installation to the sole bidder H and H Electric, in the amount of $26, 900 . 00 and that the accompanying resolution for the required supplemental appropriation be approved in the amount of $7,000.00.
