HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1986 - 192 - Approving and adopting certain supplemental appropriations calculated as of august 1, 1986 and to be effective for the remainder of the fiscal yeat ending june 30, 1987 g, 411 RESOLUTION NO. 9G'/yam A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF , REDDING APPROVING AND ADOPTING CERTAIN SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS CALCULATED AS OF August 1 , 1986, AND TO BE EFFECTIVE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1987 . WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted a budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1987 ; and WHEREAS, such budget contained estimated revenue and appropriations for said fiscal year; and WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Director of Finance that certain supplemental appropriations must be approved at this time to balance the City' s accounts , for said fiscal year; NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows : 1 . That the foregoing recitals are true and correct. 2 . That it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City of Redding to approve and adopt the following supplemen- tal appropriations at this time. 3 . That said adjustment shall be in accordance with the schedule attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth at this point. CITY OF REDDING •Exhi Il INTER-DEPARTMENT CO MJ DCAT ON DATE 08/14/86 TO All Members of City Council B-050-100-000 FROM Director of Finance • SUBJECT Proposed Purchase - Phase II - Uninterruptible Power Supply System An uninterruptible power supply system is being installed at the City of Redding Police Building. Phase I of this project includes a motor generator unit. This unit was purchased in 1985/86 at a cost of $42 , 000 . 00. Phase II cost will include air conditioning modifications and electrical modifications . The revised estimate for the cost of this work exceeds the initial estimate. City Council approval is requested for the accompanying resolution for the required supplemental appropriation in they amount of $25, 000 . 00 and to proceed with the bidding process .
