fig"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY SOF REDDING
ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF TWIN
VIEW BOULEVARD SOUTH OF MIDWAY DRIVE (A-13-81) .
WHEREAS, proceedings have been duly conducted and held in
accordance with the provisions of the Public Streets, Highways
and Service Easements Vacation Law, Streets and Highways Code
58300 , et seq. ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding finds and
determines that the hereinafter described real property is not
necessary for present or prospective street right-of-way
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redding
hereby resolves and orders as follows:
1 . That the City Council make the following findings in
connection herewith:
(a) The project is compatible with the Redding General
Plan;
(b) The project will not significantly alter the
existing land form;
(c) The project is compatible with the surrounding
land use; and
(d) The project is compatible with the Redding
Municipal Code.
2 . Subject to retaining a 15-foot wide electric easement

as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto, that certain real GNs
property in the City of Redding, County of Shasta, State of

California, being a portion of Twin View Boulevard, South of
Midway Drive , as the same is more particularly described in
Exhibit "A" and as illustrated in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and
incorporated herein, be and the same is hereby vacated and
abandoned as a street right-of-way.
3 . That the City Clerk of the City of Redding be and
hereby is directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution,
attested to by the City Clerk under the seal of the City of
Redding, in the office of the Shasta County Recorder.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 21st day of July , 1986 , and was
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Carter, Gard, Johannessen, & Dahl
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Fulton

All that portion of the City of Redding described as follows:
That portion of the N.W. 1/4 of Section 19, T. 32 N. , R. 4 W. ,
N.D.M. , described as follows :
A strip of land 33 feet in width, the southeasterly line of
which is described as follows:
Beginning at the most northerly corner of the land described in
deed to Ellis S. Foster, et al. , recorded June 22 , 19811, in Book
1819, at page 556 , Official Records of Shasta County; thence
along the northwesterly line of the land described in said deed
S. 28°54 ' W. , 145 . 69 feet to the most northerly corner of the
land described in Resolution No. 64-39 of the Board of Super-
visors of Shasta County, recorded April 10, 1964 , in Book 784
of Official Records, at page 444 ,. Shasta County Records, the
point of termination.
Reserving therefrom a 15 foot wide easement for public utility
purposes, the southeasterly boundary of which is coincident with
the southeasterly boundary of above described 33 foot strip.
