HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1986 - 056 - Prohibiting parking at all times on the west curb line of california st south of south st • RESOLUTION NO. ,4-36 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING PROHIBITING PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON THE WEST CURB LINE OF CALIFORNIA STREET SOUTH OF SOUTH STREET A DISTANCE OF 100 FEET; AND ALONG THE FRONTAGE OF 6250 PASO DRIVE. WHEREAS, Section 11 . 24. 040 of the Redding Municipal Code specifically provides that the City Council may designate, by Resolution, additional areas unsuitable, dangerous or incon- venient for parking purposes; and WHEREAS , the Traffic and Parking Commission has recommended parking be prohibited at all times on certain streets; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered such recommendation and deems it to be in the best interests of the City to adopt same; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is categor- ically exempt from the provisions of CEQA; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows : 1 . That parking is prohibited at all times on the west curb line of California Street south of South Street for a distance of 100 feet. 2. That parking is prohibited at all times along the frontage of 6250 Paso Drive. 3 . That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to install appropriate signs and markings to accomplish the purpose of this Resolution.
