RESOLUTION NO. (?7-199
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
APPROVING ALL STATE AND FEDERAL PERMITS ASSOCIATED WITH THE
SACRAMENTO RIVER TRAIL PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE, INCLUDING PERMITS
WITH THE STATE LANDS COMMISSION, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO SIGN ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION.
WHEREAS, from time-to-time the City of Redding will be
required to enter into permit agreements with state and federal
agencies covering state and federally-owned lands in the
Sacramento River for the use and maintenance of a pedestrian
bridge crossing, including a permit agreement with the State of
California State Lands Commission; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Redding
to enter into such permit agreements;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding that the City Manager be and hereby is
authorized to sign all permit agreements on behalf of the City of
Redding, in connection therewith, and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to attest the signature of the City
Manager and to impress the official seal of the City of Redding
on the aforesaid permit agreements, when appropriate.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 16th day of June , 1987 , and was
duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Fulton, Gard, Johannessen, & Dahl
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Carter
