A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
SUMMARILY VACATING A PORTION OF A STORM DRAIN EASEMENT,
NAMELY THE WESTERLY 129. 85 FEET OF THE EASTERLY 144. 85 FEET
OF THE NORTHERLY 15 FEET OF LOT 2 OF THAT CERTAIN LOT LINE
ADJUSTMENT FOR FIRST FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION,
RECORDED IN BOOK 25 OF PARCEL MAPS AT PAGE 194, SHASTA
COUNTY RECORDS.
WHEREAS, in 1985 a parcel map was filed for First Federal
Savings and Loan Association creating a three-way lot split at
the corner of Hilltop Drive and Mistletoe Lane; and
WHEREAS, in December of 1986 , a lot line adjustment was
recorded between Lots 2 and 3 , moving the easterly line of Lot 2
144 . 85 feet east; and
WHEREAS, the City Public Works Department has determined
that the Westerly 129. 85 feet of the Easterly 144. 85 feet of the
Northerly 15 feet of Lot 2 of that certain lot line adjustment
for First Federal Savings and Loan Association, recorded in Book
25 of Parcel Maps at page 194, Shasta County Records, as more
particularly depicted in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, reserved unto the City of
Redding, is no longer necessary for storm drain purposes because
of said lot line adjustment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding proposes to
vacate said portion, thereby reducing the storm drain easement

reservation, in accordance with the provisions of the Public
Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law (Streets and
Highways Code, Part 3, Chapter 4 , Sections 8330 , et seq. ) ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding finds and
determines that said Westerly 129. 85 feet of the Easterly 144. 85
feet of the Northerly 15 feet of Lot 2 of said lot line
adjustment is excess storm drain right-of-way not required for
present or prospective storm drain purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redding
resolves and orders as follows :
1 . That certain Westerly 129. 85 feet of the Easterly 144. 85
feet of the Northerly 15 feet of Lot 2 of that certain lot line
adjustment for First Federal Savings and Loan Association,
recorded in Book 25 of Parcel Maps at page 194 , Shasta County
Records, as more particularly depicted in Exhibit A attached
hereto, is hereby declared to be surplus and not required for
storm drain easement purposes, and said portion is hereby vacated
as a storm drain easement.
2 . That the City Clerk of the City of Redding be and
hereby is directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution,
attested to by the City Clerk under the seal of the City of
Redding, in the Office of the Shasta County Recorder.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of

the City of Redding on the 5th day of May , 1987 , and was
duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
