HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1987 - 123 - Authorizing the city attorney to execute federal aid right of way 410 410 , RESOLUTION NO. $ 7-Q-2-1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO EXECUTE FEDERAL AID RIGHT-OF-WAY CERTIFICATIONS. WHEREAS, Caltrans, acting as agent for the Federal Government, requires that right-of-way acquisitions be approved and certified by an individual so authorized by the City Council of the City of Redding; and WHEREAS, if the City does not comply with this requirement, Federal funding will not be available; and WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Department of Public Works that the City Attorney be authorized to execute Right-of-Way Certifications for Federal Aid Projects; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that the City Attorney be and hereby is authorized to execute Right-of-Way Certifications for Federal Aid Projects on behalf of the City of Redding; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest the signature of the City Attorney and to impress the official seal of the City of Redding on the aforesaid documents, when appropriate.
