Nick Gardner eommented on the MeConneli Faundatian hameless issues and his appreeiation to the Public�'orks Director for taking care of a streets issue he had. A MUTION WAS MADE by Council Member Dacquisto,seconded by Council Member Schreder,to adopt Resolution No. 2021-120, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Redding,a�proving a 1&0-day�rait period exception and single interim appointment of Joan Twomey as Executive Assistant I far the City of Redding pursuant to Governsnent Code sections 7522.56 and 21221(h),and granting the City Manager authority ta exectilte the necessary hiring documentation. The resolutian, if approved, would allow refired Executive �ssistant I, Joan Twomey, to be rehired to perform the complex duties af the positifln during the recruitment and hiring prQcess for a new Exeeutive Assistant I.
