� RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING HONORING SHASTA COLLEGE
FOR ITS SUPPORT IN THE RESTORATION OF OLD CITY HALL INTO A CENTER FOR THE ARTS.
�
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding believes that the
restoration of Old City Hall for use as a performing arts theater and gallery
will contribute to the welfare of the community by providing a public facility
for local artist and the public to enjoy; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the restoration of Old City Hall
is important to the Community because the building is listed on the National
Register of Historic Places and because the historical building will provide a
window into Redding's past;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Redding hereby acknowledges the contribution of Shasta College, its teachers
and students, and the individual named below for his expert skills in the
reconstruction of Old City Hall 's 1907 bell tower.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced and read at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 21st day of
March, 1987, and was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
