A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING (1)
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NOS. 83-164 , 83-245, 84-259 , 85-131
AND 85-151; AND (2) AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 86-147 BY
MODIFYING THE SCHEDULE OF SALARIES FOR OFFICERS AND EXEMPT
EMPLOYEES TO INCLUDE A TRANSPORTATION ANALYST, EFFECTIVE
JANUARY 19, 1987.
WHEREAS, City Council has studied the current Schedule of
Salaries for Officers and Exempt Employees and the Employee
Classification Schedule and Salary Plan as previously established
by Resolution No. 83-164 , which has been partially amended by
Resolution Nos . 83-245, 84-259 , 85-131 , 85-151 and 86-147; and
WHEREAS, staff has recommended that Resolution Nos. 83-164,
83-245, 84-259 , 85-131 and 85-151 be rescinded; and
WHEREAS, staff has further recommended that Resolution No.
86-147 be partially amended by modifying the Schedule of Salaries
for Officers and Exempt Employees, effective January 19, 1987, to
include a Transportation Analyst, as indicated in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference; and
WHEREAS, City Council deems it to be in the best interests
of the City of Redding to adopt such recommendations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding as follows:
1 . That Resolution Nos. 83-164, 83-245 , 84-259 , 85-131 and
85-151 be rescinded.
2 . That Resolution No. 86-147 is hereby partially amended
by modifying the Schedule of Salaries for Officers and Exempt

Employees to include a Transportation Analyst, as set forth in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
3 . That this Resolution shall be effective January 19,
1987.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 19th day of January , 1987 , and
was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
