RESOLUTION NO. g7.7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE REPORT AND ACCOUNT OF THE COSTS
OF ABATEMENT OF THE UNSAFE BUILDINGS AND DEBRIS ON THE
PROPERTY AT 2915 MARKET STREET (TOWNHOUSE LODGE) , OWNED BY
ATLAS SAVINGS & LOAN (PREVIOUSLY OWNED BY YOUNG SOO KIM AND
JOUNG HOON KIM) .
WHEREAS, the Fire Marshal of the City of Redding has
submitted to the City Council, for confirmation, the attached
report and account of the costs of abatement of the unsafe
buildings and debris on the property owned by Atlas Savings &
Loan (previously owned by Young Soo Kim and Joung Hoon Kim) ,
being Assessor' s Parcel No. 104-230-01 located at 2915 Market
Street, Redding, California, and more particularly described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference.
WHEREAS, the demolition and removal work done on said
property, for which said costs were incurred, was done pursuant
to the provisions of the City Code, and the owner of the subject
property was notified in advance of all proceedings herein as
provided for in said Code; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is
categorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Redding does hereby approve and confirm the report and
account of the costs of demolition and removal of the unsafe
buildings and debris on the subject property. These costs shall

constitute a lien on said property and shall be collected in the
manner of ordinary taxes by the Tax Collector of the County of
Shasta, acting for the City of Redding. The City Clerk of the
City of Redding is directed to send a copy of this Resolution and
the report of the Fire Marshal herein to the County Auditor of
Shasta County, certified mail, for that purpose.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 5th day of January , 1987,
and was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
