City Council, Special Meeting
City Hall Conference Room

Redding, California
August 26, 1991 5:15 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Dahl with the following Council
Members present: Buffum, Fulton, Moss, and Dahl. Council Member Arness was
absent.
Also present were Assistant City Manager McMurry, Assistant City Attorney
Calkins, Planning and Community Development Director Perry, Director of
Finance Downing, and Assistant City Clerk Strohmayer.
CLOSED SESSION

Mayor Dahl stated that Council will adjourn to closed session pursuant to
California Government Code Section 54956.8 to discuss real property
negotiations on the sale of City-owned property at Airpark Drive and Sonoma
Avenue (APN 104-880-05); the negotiators for the potential buyer being the
firm of Haedrich and Cox.
At the hour of 5:18, Mayor Dahl declared the meeting adjourned to closed
session.
At the hour of 5:35 p.m., Mayor Dahl reconvened the meeting to regular
session.
MOTION: Made by Council Member Buffum, seconded by Council Member Fulton, to
accept the offer from Mercy Medical Center, Inc. for the purchase of City-
owned property at Airpark Drive and Sonoma Street (APN 104-880-05) in the
amount of $650,000.00, and the City of Redding will pay the documentary
transfer taxes.
Voting was as follows:
Ayes: Council Members - Buffum, Fulton, and Dahl
Noes: Council Members - Moss
Absent: Council Members - Arness
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, at the hour of 5:40 p.m., Mayor Dahl declared
the meeting adjourned.
