Council Chambers
Redding, California
April 23, 1990 5:55 p.m.

Council Members present: Arness, Dahl, Fulton, Moss and Buffum.

RESOLUTION
- Subordination Agreement on Density Increase Agreement for
Sandpointe Apartments
(L-010-390)
Housing Administrator Maurer recalled that on June 17, 1985, Council
adopted a resolution approving an Agreement between Sandpointe
Investors and the City of Redding for a density increase on property
located at 655 Hilltop Drive. The Agreement allows the City to
execute a subordination agreement to specific insured or direct
project financing from FHA or HUD. The property owner has requested
that the City execute a subordination agreement to enable a
refinancing to occur that is not FHA or HUD insured or direct project
financing. This would allow a new loan to be recorded in favor of PW
Funding, Inc. It is the recommendation of staff to approve the
resolution authorizing the Subordination Agreement.
MOTION: Made by Council Member Dahl, seconded by Council Member
Arness, that Resolution No. 90-183 be adopted, a resolution of the
City Council of the City of Redding approving the Subordination
Agreement between Sandpointe Investors and the City of Redding, and
authorizing the Mayor to sign same.
