RESOLUTION NO. $" A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING APPROVING THE TERMS OF THE LETTER AGREEMENT FROM NICHOLS, MELBURG & ROSSETTO, AIA, TO THE CITY OF REDDING DATED DECEMBER 2 , 1988 , FOR ANALYSIS OF THE BENTON RANCH SITE AND THE PARKVIEW SITE, WHICH ANALYSIS IS NOT TO EXCEED $25 ,000 .00 AND IS TO BE PRESENTED TO CITY COUNCIL NO LATER THAN JANUARY 23 , 1989 . IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows : 1 . That the City Council of the City of Redding hereby approves the terms of the Letter Agreement from Nichols, Melburg & Rossetto, Members of the American Institute of Architects , to the City of Redding dated December 2 , 1988 , for the preparation of an analysis of the Benton Ranch and Parkview Sites, which analysis is not to exceed $25 , 000 . 00 and is to be presented to the City Council no later than January 23 , 1989 , on the following condition: That to the extent applicable, the terms, covenants, and agreements contained in the "Client-Consultant Agreement for Civic Center and City Administration Building Study" entered into between the parties hereto dated September 29 , 1987 , are incorporated into the above-mentioned Letter Agreement dated December 2 , 1988 , as if fully set forth therein. Fees shall be billed to City upon the completion of each Phase, as follows: Phase I Site Analysis $ 5 ,000 .00 Phase II Economic Comparison 15 , 000 .00 Phase III Final Report 5 , 000 .00 . 411 411 2 . That a true copy of said Letter Agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. 3 . That the City Manager of the City of Redding is hereby authorized and directed to sign said Letter Agreement on behalf of the City Council of the City of Redding; and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest the signature of the City Manager and to impress the official seal of the City of Redding on the aforesaid letter if necessary. The description of the Scope of Work is as follows: PHASE I Site Analysis Purpose: Develop general understanding of the site, identifying opportunities and constraints on micro and macro levels.
