RESOLUTION NO. ii)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
ESTABLISHING A 20-FOOT LOADING ZONE AT 1800 PINE STREET.
WHEREAS , Section 11 . 24 . 120 of the Redding Municipal Code
specifically provides that the City Council may designate, by
Resolution, the location of any additional loading zones; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic and Parking Commission has recommended
that a new loading zone be established as follows:
A 20-foot loading zone along the westerly curb line of Pine
Street beginning 60 feet north of the South Street right-of-
way line, to allow for the loading and unloading of goods
and services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered such recommendation
and deems it to be in the best interests of the City to adopt
same; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is
categorically exempt from the provisions of the California
Environmental Quality Act;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding that a new loading zone is hereby established
as follows:
A 20-foot loading zone along the westerly curb line of Pine
Street beginning 60 feet north of the South Street right-of-
way line, to allow for the loading and unloading of goods
and services.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 20th day of September , 1988 , and was
duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Buffum, Carter, Dahl , Fulton & Johannessen
NOES : COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS : None
