HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1988-331 - Establishing a 20-foot loading zone at 1800 pine street 4 ., RESOLUTION NO. ii) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ESTABLISHING A 20-FOOT LOADING ZONE AT 1800 PINE STREET. WHEREAS , Section 11 . 24 . 120 of the Redding Municipal Code specifically provides that the City Council may designate, by Resolution, the location of any additional loading zones; and WHEREAS, the Traffic and Parking Commission has recommended that a new loading zone be established as follows: A 20-foot loading zone along the westerly curb line of Pine Street beginning 60 feet north of the South Street right-of- way line, to allow for the loading and unloading of goods and services; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered such recommendation and deems it to be in the best interests of the City to adopt same; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that a new loading zone is hereby established as follows: A 20-foot loading zone along the westerly curb line of Pine Street beginning 60 feet north of the South Street right-of- way line, to allow for the loading and unloading of goods and services.
