RESOLUTION CALLING FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS LEBRUN LANE/POLK STREET STREET ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1987-4 The City Council of the City of Redding resolves: 1. This City Council has given preliminary approval to the report of the Engineer of Work for improvements in the LeBrun Lane/Polk Street Street Assessment District No. 1987-4 , City of Redding, Shasta County, California. The report includes plans and specifications for the construction of improvements described in the report. 2 . The City of Redding will receive sealed proposals for this construction not later than 3 : 00 P.M. on July 19 , 1988, in the City Clerk' s Office located at 760 Parkview Avenue, Redding, California 96001. At that time, the sealed proposals will be publicly opened, examined and declared in the Main Conference Room at City Hall at the above address. 3 . The Council reserves the power in its discretion to reject all proposals. The award of construction contract, if made, shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder within the time fixed in the specifications (or any extension of time agreed to by the Engineer of Work and the lowest responsible bidder) . 4 . The City Clerk is directed to publish a notice inviting sealed proposals in the RECORD SEARCHLIGHT in accordance with the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913 . The Engineer of Work is authorized to give additional notice and to distribute additional information as necessary in the judgment of the Engineer of Work, to secure competitive bidding. * * * ti w 4� • I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Redding, Shasta County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 21st day of June, 1988 .
