A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE HEATING AND AIR
CONDITIONING MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT DATED AUGUST 18 , 1987 ,
BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDDING AND ACCU-TEMP NORTH, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN SAME.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Redding as follows:
1 . That the City Council of the City of Redding hereby
approves the First Amendment to the Agreement between the City of
Redding and Accu-Temp North dated August 18 , 1987 , for heating
and air conditioning maintenance , a true copy of which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein; and
2 . That the Mayor of the City of Redding is hereby
authorized and directed to sign said Amendment and all necessary
documents in connection therewith on behalf of the City of
Redding, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
attest the signature of the Mayor and to impress the official
seal of the City of Redding on the aforesaid documents, when
appropriate.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 5th day of April , 1988 , and was
duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:

FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, effective February 1 , 1988 , is made and
entered into by and between the CITY OF REDDING, a Municipal
Corporation, of 760 Parkview Avenue, Redding, California 96001 ,
hereinafter called "City, " and ACCU-TEMP NORTH, of Post Office
Box 2315 , Redding, California 96099 , hereinafter called
"Contractor" :
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, City and Contractor entered into an' Agreement dated
August 18 , 1987 , for the performance of heating and air
conditioning maintenance services; and
WHEREAS, City and Contractor wish to amend the Agreement
between the parties pursuant to the terms and conditions of this
First Amendment to Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed as follows:
1 . The following Paragraph lA be and hereby is added to
said Agreement dated August 18 , . 1987 :
1A. In addition to the maintenance services to be
performed in accordance with paragraph 1 above,
Contractor covenants and agrees to perform heating and
air conditioning maintenance for City as described in
Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference, in accordance with the following terms and
conditions and for the following compensation.
2 . Paragraph 3 of said Agreement dated August 18 , 1987 , is
hereby deleted, and the following substituted therefor:
3 . City agrees to pay Contractor, in consideration of
the services to be performed in accordance with the
provisions of paragraphs 1 , 1A, and 2 above, the sum of
$803 . 70 per month for each month during the term of
this Agreement. In the event such services are
performed for only a fraction of a month as a result of

the expiration of the term hereof, or earlier
termination or cancellation hereof, contractor shall be
paid for the fraction of the month that services were
performed in accordance with a proration of the monthly
consideration computed on the basis of a 30-day month.
3 . All other terms and conditions of said Agreement dated
August 18 , 1987 , shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have set their hands
on the day and year set forth below.
