A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 86-147 , PARTIALLY AMENDED BY
RESOLUTION NOS . 87-12 , 87-48 , 87-115 , 87-212 , 87-213 ,
87-249 , 88-4 AND 88-12 BY (1) DELETING THE EXISTING
EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE SALARY PLAN AS OF
MIDNIGHT, JANUARY 18 , 1988 ; AND (2) IMMEDIATELY THEREAFTER
ESTABLISHING A NEW EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT PAY-FOR-PERFORMANCE
SALARY PLAN EFFECTIVE JANUARY 19 , 1988 .
WHEREAS, City Council has studied the current Executive
Management Pay-for-Performance Plan as previously established by
Resolution No. 87-2.13 , which amended Resolution No. 86-147 , as
amended. To date, Resolution No. 86-147 has been partially
amended by Resolution Nos. 87-12 , 87-48 , 87-115 , 87-212 , 87-213 ,
87-249 , 88-4 and 88-12 ; and
WHEREAS , staff has recommended that Resolution No. 86-147 ,

partially amended by Resolution Nos. 87-12 , 87-48 , 87-115 , a

87-212 , 87-213 , 87-249 , 88-4 and 88-12 , be further amended by (1)
deleting the existing Executive Management Pay-for-Performance

Salary Plan as of midnight, January 18 , 1988 ; and (2) immediately
thereafter establishing a new Executive Management

Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan as set forth in Exhibit "A" co
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference effective
January 19 , 1988 ; and
WHEREAS, City Council deems it to be in the best interests
of the City of Redding to adopt such recommendation;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding that Resolution No. 86-147 , partially amended by
Resolution Nos. 87-12 , 87-48 , 87-115 , 87-212 , 87-213 , 87-249 ,
88-4 and 88-12 be and hereby is further amended by (1) deleting
the existing Executive Management Pay-for-Performance Salary Plan
as of midnight, January 18 , 1988 ; and (2) immediately thereafter
establishing a new Executive Management Pay-for-Performance
Salary Plan as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
effective January 19 , 1988 .
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 19th day of January, 1988 , and was
duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
