HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - City Council - 04-20-21 - Closed Session361 Redding City Council, Special Meeting Civic Center Council Chambers 777 Cypress Avenue Redding, CA 96001 April 20, 2021, 5:00 PM Due to the increase in the spread of Covid-19 and the latest directives from the Governor and the California Department of Public Health, the Mayor has modified access to the City Council meeting to enable members of the public to attend and to make public comments. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Erin Resner with the following Council Members present: Michael Dacquisto, Mark Mezzano, Kristen Schreder, and Julie Winter. Also present were: City Manager Barry Tippin, Assistant City Manager Sheri DeMaagd, City Attorney Barry E. DeWalt, Redding Police Chief William Schueller, Redding Fire Chief Jerrod Vanlandingham, Executive Assistant Luisa Klapperich, and City Clerk Pamela Mize called the roll prior to leaving the Closed Session meeting. There were no public comments. CLOSED SESSION At the hour of 5:15 p.m., Mayor Resner opened the Special Meeting and announced that the Council would adjourn to Closed Session. 3A. Closed Session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54956.8: CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR Property Location: 2772 and 2786 Victor Ave., Assessor's Parcel Nos. 067-270-063 and 067-270-064 Agency Negotiator: City Manager Tippin Negotiating Parties: City of Redding and Gary and Patsy Knighten Under Negotiation: Price and Terms Pursuant to Government Code section 54957.1(a), the City Council took no reportable action on this item. 3B. Closed Session pursuant to California Government Code Section 54956.8: CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR Property Location: Stillwater Business Park, Lots 1 and 2, Assessor's Parcel Nos. 054-830-001 and 054-830-003 Agency Negotiator: City Manager Tippin Negotiating Parties: City of Redding and T and S DVBE, Inc. Under Negotiation: Price and Terms Pursuant to Government Code section 54957.1(a), the City Council took no reportable action on this item.
