Home My WebLink AboutReso. 1989-349 - Authorizing the city manager to execute two grant agreements a RESOLUTION NO. 89-591 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE TWO GRANT AGREEMENTS FOR FUNDING UNDER THE RENTAL REHABILITATION GRANT PROGRAM TOTALLING $207,750.00 WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT. WHEREAS, the City has received $1,097,500.00 in Rental Rehabilitation Program funds since 1984; and WHEREAS, HUD has approved an additional $207,750.00 in Rental Rehabilitation Grant funds for Redding; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it would be in the best interest of the residents of the City of Redding to continue participation in this program; and 1 ; WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the attached Funding Approvals and Grant Agreements required by HUD in connection herewith and has agreed to same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redding hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute said Grant Agreement for the Rental Rehabilitation Grant Program in the amount of $100,000.00 and said Grant Agreement for the Rental Rehabilitation Grant Program in the amount of $107,750.00.
